The clinical symptoms in minks with SARS-CoV-2 infection are primarily respiratory symptoms, dry cough, discharge from the nose and shortness of breath with the mouth open. It is primarily the females and not the puppies that have shown symptoms, and also led to increased mortality among the bitches.

A major feature of SARS-CoV-2 infections in animals is the high proportion of asymptomatic cases, this is also true for minks.
