Collect
Using the AeroCollect air sampling technology the sample is collected on the farm within minutes. During sampling bacteria and viruses are captured from the air and retained in a sample chamber by a powerful electric field.
The assay is performed in a laboratory where the sample is analysed for the presence of selected bacteria and viruses using qPCR.

Result
The results of the qPCR analysis can quickly reveal if a disease is present in the herd. A routine screening programme for the most prevalent diseases will ensure that these diseases are diagnosed early, ideally before onset of clinical symptoms and loss in production.
