Enterococcus Cecorum
Enterococcus cecorum are considered an opportunistic pathogen of the intestinal tract that has the potential to cause disease in poultry, often as a secondary bacterial infection. Findings are mostly related to the musculoskeletal system and include lameness, arthritis, and osteomyelitis.
AeroCollect® can detect the presence of E. cecorum in the air. By continuous sampling throughout the rotation, you will get a clear picture of the presence and development of E. cecorum in the flock, providing valuable information of the health status of the birds.
